In order to prevent any disruptions in the visa processes of researchers invited from abroad and to ensure that records are maintained accurately, it is kindly requested that attention be paid to the following matters:
QR-Coded Official Invitation Letter Request
For situations in which embassies may request verification and to facilitate visa procedures, please submit the signed petition and work plan of the invited researcher to the International Student Coordination Office via e-BEYAS through your unit. Upon receipt, a QR-coded official invitation letter—also valid for TÜBİTAK and relevant ministry applications—will be issued by our Office.
Registration in the VARSİS System
The following must be recorded in the VARSİS system (International Office tab) by the VARSİS representatives of the relevant units:
– All foreign researchers and personnel visiting our University (even if the visit lasts only one day and is outside the scope of Erasmus),
– Our University personnel traveling abroad for academic or official visits.
