The 6th Internationalization in Higher Education Consultation Meeting, organized by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye International Relations Department, was hosted by Ankara University on 12 May 2026.  

We visited Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Orhan Uzun in his office following his appointment to the position of Vice Rector. We wish him success in his new role.

As part of our external stakeholder visits carried out for our international students, we visited the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Migration Management of the Governorship of Ankara. We would like to thank them for their kind hospitality.

  Uluslararası Öğrenci Koordinatörlüğü olarak, uluslararası öğrencilerimizin öğrenim sürecinde mesleki deneyim kazanmalarına yönelik imkânlar ve Türk vatandaşı öğrencilerimizin yurt dışı staj olanakları kapsamında Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik Bakanlığı’nda ziyaretler gerçekleştirdik. …. As the International Student Office, we held meetings at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to discuss opportunities for international students to gain professional experience during their studies, as well as overseas internship opportunities for Turkish students.      

With the aim of enhancing the quality of education provided to our university’s international students, a series of visits were conducted regarding the support programs of the Ministry of Trade. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Ministry of Trade.

  As the International Student Coordination Office of Ankara University, we held a highly productive meeting focusing on opportunities for our international students to gain professional experience, participate in the training programs offered by the Ankara Chamber of Commerce (ATO), and explore potential areas of cooperation that may benefit our students. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the esteemed President of ATO, Mr. Gürsel Baran, for hosting this meeting, which will contribute to the further development of our collaboration.
