The “Summer Course of Polish Language and Culture at the University of Warsaw,” organized by the University of Warsaw (Poland), will be held between 31 July and 28 August 2026. Within the scope of the program, the University of Warsaw will cover the summer course fee for two students from our university, and accommodation will also be provided.

Students who wish to participate are required to submit the following information and documents, through their affiliated unit (Faculty Dean’s Office, Institute Directorate, etc.) via e-BEYAS, to our International Student Coordination Office by the close of business on 16 March 2026:

Financial issues

The University of Warsaw will cover the cost of 2 places for the summer course, cultural programme and accommodation at a student dormitory.  We do not cover costs of travel to/ from Warsaw, meals in Warsaw, health insurance covering medical expenses, accident insurance or other costs.
The participants are requested to purchase the insurance by themselves.

The 71st Summer Course of Polish Language and Culture.

 

Course term: 31 July – 28 August 2026

At least 4 class hours per day.

 

Additional classes on culture and language :

  • Language workshops,
  • Lectures on Polish history and culture in English and Polish,
  • Museum field trips,
  • Film screenings,
  • Walks around Warsaw,
  • Dance workshops,
  • Integration events.

Classes will be held from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 am till 1.30 pm (CET); workshops and lectures – several times a week, in the afternoons.

Other useful information:

  • Groups at various levels,
  • classes delivered by professors of Centre Polonicum, qualified teachers of Polish as a foreign language, experienced in teaching foreigners with the best methods available,
  • modern teaching methods,
  • only adults are admitted to the course.

Total ECTS points to be earned:  10.
