Application deadlines
- First (winter) semester or whole academic year – May 15th, 2026
- Second (summer) semester – November 15th, 2026
Following details should be submitted to International Students Coordinatorship (Uluslararası Öğrenci Koordinatörlüğü) via e-BEYAS by the administration of the academic units:
- Full name of the student
- Student’s e-mail address
- Student’s duration of stay at the University of Warsaw: first/winter semester, second/summer semester or the whole academic year
- Student’s area/field of study
- Optionally: receiving unit at UW (according to the bilateral agreement, if applicable)
Upon receiving nominations, we will provide students with detailed information about their UW receiving unit and application instructions.
Language Requirements
All Incoming Exchange students are required to have at least a B2 level of English and/or Polish (Common European Framework of Reference: Learning, Teaching, Assessment). Please note that this rule does not apply to students nominated to study languages. They should have at least a B2 level of the language that they will study at the University of Warsaw. Here is the list of documents which can certify the knowledge of English for short-term students at UW.
Academic Offer
The University of Warsaw course offer is available in our online course catalogue.
The offer is being updated on a regular basis.
Each student is entitled to 30 ECTS per semester (+10%).
Online Application
Our application portal opens on March 10th, 2026. All Exchange students are required to submit an online application, within the application deadline. Late applications may be subject to rejection.
Academic Calendar
The first semester starts on October 1st and ends on February 5th.
The second semester starts on February 15th and ends on June 25th.

Accommodation
The number of places in University dormitories is limited. Places are assigned by the IRO based on the order students submit their applications. Applicants who submitted their applications after the deadline will not be offered accommodation.
