Based on last year’s feedback, one of the most memorable and highly rated activities among participants was our K-Entertainment Field Tour, which takes students behind the scenes of famous Netflix dramas and top K-film shooting locations in Korea.
For the 2026 Winter School, we are delighted to offer this experience again ‘limited to the first 80 students’ giving your students a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the real settings of Korea’s most iconic entertainment productions.We wanted to reach out personally to let you know about this exciting highlight and truly hope to welcome your students once more to Konkuk University.

To introduce cross-cultural interaction and academic exchange between our students, we are delighted to officially invite your institution to participate in our highly engaging 2026 Konkuk University Winter Short-Term Exchange Program.

This program is specifically designed to provide an immersive and enriching experience in Korean culture, language, and campus life.

✨ Program Highlights (February 1 – February 24, 2026)

The two-week program features an unparalleled opportunity for your students to experience life in Seoul, alongside our local students.

🌟 K-Wave & Culture Track A

  • Track A: K-Wave & Culture
    • This track offers a unique, hands-on learning experience that is Konkuk University’s signature feature.
    • Our curriculum implements a theory-to-practice daily cycle for maximum cultural immersion and retention.
    • Day 1: Theory – Academic lectures cover a topic (e.g., Korean Food Culture or K-Art History).
    • Day 2: Immediate Field Practice – Students immediately apply their knowledge through relevant, real-world activities.
      • Example (Food Culture): Following the lecture, students will participate in a hands-on cooking class to make popular dishes like Kimbap and Bulgogi.
      • Example (K-Art): After the K-Art class, students will visit major art museums or galleries to see the concepts discussed in action.
    • This intensive, practical approach ensures students not only learn about Korean culture but truly experience it.

Feature Description
Immersive Campus Life Students will be paired with Konkuk Buddies for in-person cultural exchange, allowing for a deep dive into Korean university culture.
Academic Tracks Participants may choose one of two specialized tracks:
Track A: K-Wave & Culture Taught entirely in English, covering trending topics such as K-Beauty, K-Art, K-Culture.
Track B: Intensive Korean A focused language program, with classes taught in Korean or English based on the student’s level (determined by a placement test). Ideal for rapid language improvement.
