Regulation
1. Program Overview
– MA program: Students would learn one year of Korean Language first and study master program afterwards for two years, so it would be total three years.
– PHD program: Students would learn one year of Korean Language first and study doctoral program afterwards for three years, so it would be total four years.
– The applicant and his/her parents must have foreign citizenships.
– Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of August 31st, 2014.
2. * Scholarship from Korean Government
-Airfare: Round-trip economy class ticket
-Monthly Allowance: KRW 900,000 per month
-Research Allowance: KRW 210,000 for scholars in the humanities and social sciences; KRW 240,000 for scholars in natural and mechanic sciences, per semester
-Relocation (Settlement) Allowance: KRW 200,000 upon arrival
-Language Training Fee: Full coverage
-Tuition: All admission fees and tuition
-Dissertation Printing Cost: KRW 500,000 ~ 800,000 depending on the actual costs
-Medical Insurance: KRW 20,000 per month (limited coverage)
-Special funding for scholars who are proficient in the Korean language (TOPIK Level 5 or above): KRW 100,000 per month (commencing from the degree program)
